Agreed. None of the US sellers have it at $20.

Servers go down end of June.
App store has been backed up (https://pebble-appstore.romanport.com/). Rebble OS is a replacement OS and service that is kind of in an unknown status. On Android, you can use gadget bridge (I haven't tried it yet) for some features.

I love mine that I got on a similar deal about a year ago. I really like the actual buttons and the battery life. I really wish they hadn't sold out and got discontinued. I don't think I want to wear a red watch though.

Yes I wish they had it in black. But, red might go well with casual wear Smilie.

Sad to think I backed this on Kickstarter for like $100 or $200. Can't remember how much, but it wasn't $20!

I've been using the regular pebble app (from the android app store) for my Pebble 2 HR that I got here last year sometime and it has been working just fine, except for the occasional loss of connection. I might have to try the Rebbel OS to see if it has more features/doesn't drop connectivity as often.

For those that don't know, after being bought by fitbit, pebble made the app not rely on their servers so it can still be used like most any other Bluetooth watch.

And that was years and years ago. Worth it though, Pebbles are still the best smartwatches in my opinion. Can't beat that epaper display for visibility and battery life.

Same I've got this alert for the black one. I've had 2 fail on my but the battery life is awesome compared to the alternatives.

Correct, the pebble app still works like normal because Fitbit is keeping the servers running until the end of June. The pebble app was updated to work as well as possible after the servers go down, but a few features will die with the servers (for example voice replies).

I think this might have been $20 a while back, guess I should have bit then, at least then there'd have been more time before the servers died.

Since I like to tinker I got one so we'll see where this Rebble project ends up.

Has anyone tried Rebble on it yet? What functionality do you lose over official OS?
