I got a few spare batteries so I'll give it a shot since the price seems decent.

I have a bunch of 20V Li-ion DeWalt tools. Since Black and Decker and DeWalt are the same companies, does anyone know if the 20V DeWalt batteries work with this?

I have one. It works "ok" most of the time. It will stall if you are not cutting straight, but so will other saws. It has enough power for quick jobs though and is pretty light. For the price it is very good what it does.

You can buy generic 2.0Ah lithium ion batteries for B+D on ebay for $15 or 4.0Ah for $25.

OEM for $21 but it's 1.5Ah

Any experience with those? Are they as good as rated?

This is another classic case of Amazon being Amazon. They're only price-matching Target [target.com]. So if you have a RedCard, you can get it for 5% less.

With extremely minor tool modification, Porter Cable batteries work with B&D. Did that on the last B&D sawzall deal.

I need the B&D jigsaw to go on sale. Nearly every other tool of theirs has recently.

I just got one myself- same response as above. Great for some quick cuts, probably would do well for trim work- get a better blade.
