I will never fly with them ever again. Flights always delayed, rude customer service, and the app on Android is horrible. I'd pay a little more to fly SW or Jetblue.

Terrible airline. Wouldn't recommend it unless you have extra few days to get to your destination and don't mind the delays and cancellations. On a positive note they will give you $50 voucher that will expire in 1 month if your flight is cancelled.

I agree with you guys. Flew with them once. Not worth the savings. Most horrible airline ever.

Spirit is pretty awful but they have some good sales every once in a while. This is not one of the good sales.

They are fine for a budget airline, especially if your local airport does not offer any better choices.

btw,

These statistics show they are pretty much just like all the rest.

I always had great experience with them. They are lenient about their personal item/bag pack and also assign you the family seats together even if you haven't paid extra for seat assignments. Spirit is my go to airline. I fly from Kansas City and we don't have very many direct flight options. Just booked a las vegas vacation for $150 round trip. Can't beat that

One of my buddy who flies from Houston had similar experience with them. I have never tried Spirit, but with these sale price, you can't go wrong. Going to give them a shot.

Yes Spirit is cheap and awful - you get what you pay for, but for some situations it makes perfect sense! My last Spirit flight was ORD-LAS for $44 round trip. Yes please!

same here, no bad exp. so far; r/t to LAS from TX for less than $100 was about 1/2 or 1/3 of other airlines'; daughter recently booked a r/t non-stop to SEA around mid Jun for $115 & split the cost of 1 checked bag with a friend for $20; so her total is about $135; since the fare is not much, she said that may consider paying a bit extra for a big seat for extra comfort on a 5-hr flight

30% off is not good sale; they offer more than 50% to 75% at times

Just flew with them from FLL to Seattle. People were nice, but unless you're traveling short distance or backpack only, it's nickel and dime for everything.

Seats are uncomfortable and nome recline... even the big seats in the first 2 rows. Spent $330 for 3 of us to have the big seats for redeye back to FL - could not sleep at all in those uncomfortable seats!

Their $30 checked bag only allows for 40# where most others are 50# or more, or include first bag free. Our 2 bags were 44# and 46# so paid extra $60 each way. Over 40# is another $30. Over 50# is $50, and over 60# is $75... this on top of the original $30.

No free snacks or water on the flight at all. $3 can of soda, $4 dasani, all snacks are hella overpriced. Beer and Mini alcohol bottles start at $8. Look for their menu on the website. We brought a bag of snacks on with us knowing this ahead of time.

As said above, savings are not there after all is said and done.

guess I got lucky. I flew Spirit for the 1st time ever round trip from ATL to Vegas. Non-stop both ways and both flights arrived early.

I wouldn't fly it even if they gave me free tickets.
