Just went on sale 5 minutes ago. Supposed to be one of the best mid-range phones out there.

249.99 is MSRP. Amazon and Best Buy have already been selling it

Best? Idk this time around. The G5+ certainly was but we don't know how well the 435 I think, runs vs the 625/630.

Amazon unlock G5 plus is cheaper. More powerful than G6. Soon you will see G6 plus. Get G5 plus from amazon is cheaper and better deal than G6.

G6 plus isn't being offered in the North American market. And if you get one internationally, I think it will not have the bands to use on Verizon or Sprint.

The 32GB G5 plus only has 2GB RAM (unless you're comparing to the 64GB G5 plus which has 4GB RAM and would be more expensive) while the G6 comes with 3GB RAM. Also, the G6 cameras are better, including dual rear cameras, and the G6 will come with Oreo. Who know when if ever the G5 series will get Oreo. The G6 will probably get more OS updates later as well.

The SD450 in the G6 is almost the same as the SD625 in the G5 plus. I doubt there would be much of a practical difference seen in real world usage between the two.

I think unless one can get a real good deal on a G5 plus like the $115 clearance price at Target, it's worth getting the G6 over the G5 plus.

Frys It just has the $5 coupon listed under promos. It automatically added it. I entered the $10 code from retail me not and got $15 off.

"Midrange" might not be the right category as that can be interpreted as sub $400. But I've always liked the Moto G lineup for the price range. Is there a better phone $250 or less than the Moto G6 and last year's Moto G5 series?

Oh, I like the G5/G5Plus G5S plus or whatever as that I think truly is one of the better if not best phones for under 300. I even think it's better than the G6 and is still probably one of the better phones. I also like the Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Redmi Note 5 as well. But I understand some people might not feel comfortable buying a phone that doesn't have real standing in the US marketplace even if it works just fine.
