This was front page deal, shows in stock in Plano TX.

Few updates.
I bought and assembled myself, took 2 hrs + time and I am fairly good with tools/ assembly. It just takes time.
As someone said below, it runs hotter inside to outside.
It gets very hot very fast, got to 500 F in less than 10 mins, easy to maintain temp. After temp is reached just down knobs.
Plenty of space to grill, I had 3-4 lbs chicken pieces at once plus vegetables.
Cooking was lot more uniform and results were good.

Thoughts on this versus the $150 Nexgrill five grill this past week? I've got the Nexgrill but it's still in the box as I was going to assemble it this weekend.

Great grill. I've owned it for several years. Your getting yourself a comparable grill to those 1000 dollar models. Just wish I paid 199 for it and not what I did.

It's a great value for the price and you're getting a ton of grilling area but they are in no way comparable to higher end brands. I run the seasonal department at my local hd and I tell people dynaglow/nexgrill are 3-6 year grills based on my 11 years of experience.

I bought the higher end dynaglo a few years ago. Rusted everywhere (almost always covered) and hard to find some of the replacement parts. I would not recommend unless you are ok with buying a grill again in a couple years. Check the amazon reviews for this brand, lots of buyer remorse.

I also curios on this. I almost bought the NexGrill last weekend, but I read too many reviews about it rusting out after only one season. Does anyone know how Dyna-Glo compares to the Nexgrill ?

I just used this today to barbecue chicken and corn. It is hotter towards the back of the BBQ, so it will burn chicken there. It's less hot towards the front. So you have to constantly move chicken front to back to make sure everything cooks well. Are all BBQs like this?

When I was grill shopping I was looking st the cheaper grills. The problem I had was I would be replacing another cheap grill that rusted out over time and was an eye sore to my backyard. I opted for a name brand for this go round. Buy once cry once

I've owned them both. The $150 has less burners and less grilling area and the doors at the from are black versus stainless steel like this one. Also this one has four wheels which makes it easier to move around while the $150 one has wheels only on one side so you have to move it around like a wheelbarrow. Bottom line if you grill only once in a while and don't need to move the grill around a lot then I think the $150 one will adequately cover your basic needs. After a few uses they both start to rust and degrade pretty much at the same rate on the inside cooking areas.

I've had my Dyna Glow 3 burner for about 3 years now and it still looks and works great. Just replaced the heat shields and I'm guessing I'll get another 3-4 years out of it.

EDIT: Mine is stored outside on my deck with a cover
