Do not buy, these are very weak and don't last at all even for low drain uses like remote controls. The Sunbeam batteries from Dollar store are wayyy better than these.
I got the Rayovac high energy from one of the HD deals and they are much much better.

Not saying don't buy these... But if you have a harbor freight near you, you can get batteries for free with any purchase, many times. Moral of the story... I have like 100 and random items for a few bucks. And they last a decent while.

Not sure I'd call these horrid, but no, they're not as good as any Energizer or Duracell. I've used these vs name brands in the same device over and over in a work setting. Insignia just don't have the life.

I have used a pack of these for the last year in all sorts of videogame related items.

Yes they don't last as long as the big brands, they seem to last about 70% as long.

A 48 pack of energizers is around $26, these are less than 1/3 the price.

Don't even dare recommend those horrible carbon-zinc batteries from Harbor Freight. Avoid them like the plague. They leak no matter what you put them in and ruin whatever you put them into. I've had to throw out remotes and clocks that get ruined because they've corroded the contacts beyond saving.

I have a 6 year old and these work just fine. He leaves everything on so I'd rather replace cheap dead batteries than expensive ones. 8 C Duracell were dead the next day in a CD player the next day. Now it's all cheap batteries. Perfect for Wii motes which seem to bbn use more battery between uses than during game play.
