Damn it this makes me miss my mom! She passed away last May, but her and I were such HUGE Star Wars fans with each other!
We so would've had a blast picking this up along with the Tie Advanced they have on amazong for $50 for the summer! lol...she was fun cause she was all Sith/Vader/Darkside 100% while I was all about the lightside. Made things fun.

I know I'm adding nothing to this deal's conversation. Just thinking out loud. Gosh damn do I miss my mom Frown. She was my best friend and the only person in my life I got to geek out with on Star Wars. Holy hell we were like children when it came to collecting Star Wars stuff! haha

I just had my dad send me a limited edition Star Wars book about the Sith I gave to my mom once for mother's day (https://youtu.be/EOYrQYqiisg) which comes in a super cool package that lights up and makes sounds to release the book contained inside...and it reminds me of the packaging of these quadcopters.

And damn it...me and my mom would be all over these at this price and would've loved every second of it!

Sorry for the useless reply guys.

I love you mom. You were the greatest friend I'll ever have. I miss celebrating Star Wars with you :*(. The child like joy it brought both of us.

They must have over-manufactured these immensely, considering the starting price and where they are at now. They sell well and the prices just keep plummeting. We have one already and the packaging alone is pretty cool with the lights and sound right when you open up the box. And we have fun with the drones as well - so far not broken, but they come with multiple replacement pieces. For $40 it's fun and worth it.

That's because they don't fly well. According to some reviews, they don't fly at all. Like the big Airhogs Falcon, these are better used as display pieces and not flown.

Also, the x-wing is the worst looking. The TIE fighter is second worst and the speeder is third worst. Thus why the x-wing is $40, the TIE is $50 and the speeder is $70.

I have the x-wing, and it works perfectly. It is small and if there is a more than a few mph wind, it will drastically impact flight. It is easily worth $40 in my opinion. I was missing a small screwdriver that goes in the controller, and customer service promptly replaced it.

Kind of hard to believe unless you have extremely bad luck. We have 6 of them in the family and we fly them pretty consistently. Got them last Christmas and all of them are running strong.

Once you open one, it's a pretty reasonable price. Not for everyone though. It's a very well put together package with a built in display case with lots of sound effects. At $40 it's worth it for sure IF you're a Star Wars fan. If not, all the extra touches they include in the package are not going to be all that exciting.

If you're a star wars fan, must buy! I have it and it's so great. If you've never flown any rc/drone thing before, there is a learning curve, but still doable

I got this the other day. I have zero experience with drones and I will say this is definitely worth the money. The first time you open the box the drone lights up with the star wars theme blasting. Super cool experience. It comes with three rechargeable battery packs. Each battery pack lasts about 6-10 minutes of flight time. Flying is pretty easy and the drone itself takes a fair amount of damage. I've had a couple crash landings and it works just fine. I would buy again.

Mine only came with two batteries plus one dummy cockpit with no battery...should I return?
