A couple years ago I bought 300 feet of trimmer line for $10 or less thru Amazon... That's a much better deal than this.

EDIT: Sorry I thought this was 60 feet total. It is 360 feet. I'll change to thumbs uplaugh out loud

These have always been free+ship. I never posted because I didn't want this to be abused.

you can usually find them for a few cents cheaper everyday on ebay, and get CB/eBay Bucks. These are cheap enough I don't even mess with re-stringing them. Our 5 acre property will use around a 6pack per summer with edging and trimming.

Dunno about others, but I don't wanna buy a new trimmer just to save a few pennies on trimmer line that I buy every 2-3 years when I eventually run out.

Lol.

Worx has been doing this for YEARS.

You are paying a grossly inflated shipping charge for your "free" spools. It does not cost $8.60 to ship 6 plastic spools in a small vanilla envelope.

Actually, it's not.

The offer is really for owners of worx trimmers. Lifetime free, just pay shipping.

It's been around for years..

They also sell this on eBay for $8.61 shipped.

So, before you spout off about things you don't know, figure it out on your own so you don't look stupid.

It is. From their FAQ.

HOW MUCH LINE IS ON EACH SPOOL?

Each spool contains 10 feet of DNA2 DoubleHelix line.

In other news, Krispy Kreme is giving away a FREE donut when the "hot now" sign is on and you're in store buying other donuts... Wink

AKA, this has been going on since Worx started selling these trimmers. I believe there is a way to get a 10% off coupon each time, and may be cheaper through eBay. These are also sold at Menards if you need one last minute (though more expensive).
