I'm not seeing how you get a free Wifi speaker. Maybe it's a typo.

I ordered it yesterday morning and didn't see any option to add the free WiFi speaker, but I did get the receiver for $598 with my promo code. It's a great deal!

I am unable to ship this order. Also, the ad didn't state which speaker is free.

Just picked this up today at my local Fry's after missing out on the Denon 3400 deal. The free speaker you get is the Yamaha MusicCast WX-010

Moving to a new house this week and can't wait to hook it up!

I think the free speaker is for those that purchase in store. It doesn't appear to be an option to get the free speaker when you order the receiver online for shipping

Can I order online for store pickup and still get the free speaker?

So what's the big difference(s) between the Advantage and the V series? I've been waiting for a good deal on the A1070 but wondering if this wouldn't be just as good a pick for the price.

My experience is that Fry's will apply the promo code to your online order after the fact when you go to pickup in store. However, because this is a "In-store" promo where you have to see a salesperson to even see what the item is (due to advertising restrictions), it will still ring up online at $899.99.

My salesman was clueless as to what speaker came free with this receiver. A manager came over and guessed with the WX-10. When he put the SKU in, it zeroed out the cost of the speaker, so if you go in store, make sure you tell them it's the WX-10 if they aren't sure.

because I bought in-store, I didn't try adding them both to the cart online and applying the promo code. Maybe that will work?

What is your 4K source? If its a Bluray player, most of them have 2 HDMI outs and you can connect one to the receiver and one to your TV. If its streaming from your TV, it should still work through ARC. The only thing you may gain is a lack of HDMI cables running to your TV.

Did you receive an Atmos/DTSX update through firmware? If not, the Yamaha is better.

In terms of Power, the Pioneer you have is better.
