The newer models are way less air flow but the new models still nice.

Good post OP..

I am so happy with Honeywell fans im going to chime in.. I live in florida and I have a very nice carrier hvac.. But we still need a fan in every room for those days we come in after yard work..

I have 2 vornado's that cost 4 times as much … they are very very good.. But NO better than these honeywells… I personally prefer the slightly larger 15 inch 908 model..
it moves a fantastic amount of air and will cool you down quickly on a very very hot day..

Not to mention they are lifesavers when our power goes out during hurricane season (generator to run them)..

best 25 dollars I ever spent..

Check out the Q&A on Amazon
Quote :
Question:
Will this fan work in the dark?
Answer:
Yes it will work but you won't be able to see it working.
By RedCat on July 18, 2016
No it is too scared
By Mr. Gary E. Dean on June 2, 2016
It depends. If you mean the dark side, then you will also need Yoda, Luke - minimum, to counteract the dark and keep the fan in power. May the force be with you.

Question:
can it blend pancake batter?
Answer:
Yes! But it splatters it all over the kitchen walls.
By MB on July 9, 2014

Question:
If I set my worries down in front of this fan will it blow them all away?
Answer:
Not really. They just swirl around the room until you turn the fan off. Then you're right back where you started.

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind...

No, your baggage may be too heavy to be blown away.

Bought 4 of these last year when they were $9.99 on a deal at Amazon. have run them nearly constant since then. Not only are they all still working as new - not ONE has a rattle - almost all cheap fans get rattles. I own 2 Vornados as well - and still think these are XLNT fans...

Nice fan but it often goes on sale for 10 or even 9 dollars. Also the 15 inch version is a better choice imo.

I believe these have physical switches. Hook it up to a smart plug Smilie and have it run on a schedule

Solid little fans that last a long time.

I might recommend the Lasko box fans for $16 or so at Walmart instead, as they have steel constructions and perhaps most importantly are made in the USA. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Lasko-...3=&veh=sem They had plenty last time I was in store
