According to the answered questions on the product page, "These are are not intended or designated for use with impact wrenches. Sockets for impact wrenches typically have a black oxide finish and a higher tensile strength."

I wouldn't use it with an impact. If you want to use an impact, its safer to go with impact sockets since they're designed for that purpose. Chrome ones like these can shatter if you use an impact with them.

I have the tekton 3/8" socket set and have used it for all sorts of car repairs. It holds up well and the case is super handy for storage. I brought two sockets on an extremely tight bolt and they shipped me replacement parts. I'm tempted to get this set also

I have the larger 1/2 drive set. Great quality for the price point. Nice thing about these sets is that they don't skip any sizes and they're all six point sockets.

For impact use you'll want sockets made from cr-mo steel. These are made from cr-v.

This is the Tekton I use with my high torque Dewalt impact wrench and it's been working great (and cheaper). Price did go up...I paid $50 couple years ago (all in great shape so far).

Looks like $134 is the normal price.

This is all time low according to CCC.
