UHD 4K Capable 3-Port HDMI Switch w/ Auto Switching (f/s w/ Prime) $11.99

I've been looking for something that could increase the number of HDMI inputs on my TV without a bunch of extra hassle and found this. After watching the price for several months it finally dropped, and there is an additional coupon discount.

Comes out to $11.99 + tax (shipping is free with Amazon Prime) after $2 clipped coupon. That's the cheapest I've found for a device that can provide 4K resolution and automatic switching between devices without the need for a remote or toggle.

Main Features:
  • 3 HDMI inputs / 1 HDMI output
  • Supports 4K@30Hz and 1080p@60Hz
  • Automatically switches between input devices when they are powered on and off
  • Uncompressed and compressed audio formats are all supported
  • Powered by connected HDMI devices or an optional USB power input
  • FCC DoC, CE, RoHS, and WEEE compliant
  • Limited lifetime warranty through manufacturer

No remote. So so deal on a hassle of a design in my opinion.

I got this last year with SD coupon.
Item(s) Subtotal: $14.98
Shipping & Handling: $0.00
Promotion applied: -$8.99
Total before tax: $5.99
Estimated tax to be collected: $0.00
Grand Total: $5.99

auto switching, and button no remote needed. I just need to check if it does HDR, kind of doubt it.

It only does 4k at 30hz that means it's no good for 4k tvs or 4k consoles.

No remote needed... it automatically switches to whatever device is powered on.

Sad I missed this. Any comment on the device itself?

You'd be hard pressed to find a switch that does UHD at 60Hz at this price point... from my experience those typically run more in the $40-50 range.

that was the problem, it was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up, even if I didn't need it. I haven't used it that much but can say it's built better than another cheap one I bought.

Why would I pay thousands of dollars for 4k tvs and 4k consoles and then skimp on a switch that won't play above 4k at 30hz. Makes no sense.
