Perfect for collecting dust in my basement and telling the misses that I'm working out while I look at porn.

Just an FYI, I'm 5'7" and I can't set my feet flat on the floor doing a bench press with the bench flat or declined. Good bench and rack for the money though if that's not an issue for you.

Put the leg curl thing on and use the foam as a step? But yea I agree, this bench is super high.

Is this a good bench by itself? I got a power cage recently and am wondering if I can just resell the rack on CL and keep the bench.

Update: boo! I can't get it in California. "Due to state restrictions this item can't be shipped to 95136 or picked up in stores nearby."

I have the same exact model. The bench is great. The only problem is the rack. The rack will support the weights but it wobbles when you set the bar on the rack and lean towards one side. At first I thought it was because my floor was uneven. If you read some reviews on Amazon or something, a lot of people will say the same thing.

I recommend this to entry level lifters or someone who doesn't do heavy weights.

If I leave this outside in the sun with tarp covering it, will it still last long?

Yeah, based on the amazon, someone wouldn't even recommend putting 200 lbs on it.

I have the same complaint. The uprights are secured to the rounded base with one bolt and four tiny screws. I quickly wish I had spent a bit more and got a cage set up.

I wouldn't recommend it if you already work out or have some decent level of fitness (i.e. you aren't going to lift more than 200 max). I began to not trust this rack when I started adding weight. Also, I wish the safety arms were designed a bit better and had more increments.

I was a complete beginner to lifting when I got this and I think this set up was ultimately fine for that. I got to figure out some techniques and get a feel for lifting.

No California. Is it because of material it's made of and strict laws there?
