A Special Offer For Your NOOK 1st Edition(TM)
Please read this important message regarding the status of your device.

Dear Valued Customer,

Over eight years ago, we launched our first NOOK® eReader, and we were thrilled to have you as one of our first customers for what has become a tradition of offering great books on demand to readers. We want to thank you for your loyalty and continued support of the NOOK 1st Edition and NOOK products.

Because of advancements in our eReader technology, we wanted to let you know that, unfortunately, we are unable to continue to support the NOOK 1st Edition.

The good news is we would like to offer you a special coupon for one of our more advanced readers so that you can continue to read digitally and maintain your library. You may choose from the following:

NOOK Tablet® 7" for $25.00 (50% off the List Price) plus Free Shipping*

– OR –

NOOK GlowLight 3® for $59.99 (50% off the List Price) plus Free Shipping*

Either of these NOOK eReaders will provide you with up-to-date, enhanced reading experiences that we think you'll use and love for a long time to come.

To place an order for one of the above devices, visit BN.com and apply Coupon Code: *UNIQUE CODE*

Man, I've bought like 4 of these over the years as they changed and upgraded and no code.

I have an original nook. Did not get this email. Maybe because I haven't attempted to use it in years.

Amazon does have some clout - but one thing B&N has going for it is that at these prices, there aren't any push advertisements on these devices.

I Nook is straight up trash. I have the Nook 7 and wish I never bought it. If I can I would return it for my money back. This thing is slow. CPU is slow and that all I really need to say. If you have one you know what I'am talking about.

Nook devices have always been underpowered.

The Nook HD+ had a beautiful design, a gorgeous screen (particularly for that era), and a trash SOC that made it run like it was in molasses.

Par for the course, unfortunately.

I have the Nook Color and the Nook HD+ and I didn't get the offer.

I might have taken them up on it too. Oh well, I put the nook app on my Kindle so I'm good either way.

I got a nook for Christmas in 2011.

It's wifi got screwed up a month later. unless I sat right next to the router, it wouldn't pick up a signal.Reading forums, this was a common problem..

$200 down the drain

So Barnes and Nobles can kindly f off

I did get an email today that B&N would no longer support my Nook Reader, but there is no link to a coupon for a new one at $25.

I've found the tablets to be trash, but I love my e-reader Nook. It's 5 years old, gets great battery life, and is super easy to sync with Adobe Digital Editions for library books. Don't care that it runs on Android 2.1!

I actually really like my Nook Simple. I didn't get the e-mail so I guess that one will say. A shame, would like to try the glowlight.

Love my Nook STG. Hate their library system though.
