I actually own the Rose Cop version (also from Gearbest, looks identical to me). I freaking love the thing. The only 'flaw' so far is because it is round, and windows are square, it doesn't reach the very very edge. But I have a lot of huge windows, and I am lazy...but too cheap to pay someone to clean them. This is perfect solution for me laugh out loud . Check out the youtube vids on them (or similar).

I watched this one. It looks interesting but i think it's only worth it if you have a massive piece of glass otherwise you'd have to move it from window to window.

I have casement windows, and some high off ground. Generally I can reach around to outside and stick the thing there, then it does its thing. Whereas before, I would have to get a ladder (wait for good weather) and do it manually from outdoors. Even if this thing coasts out of reach, you can use the remote to direct it to a spot where you can retrieve it. I took a screenshot of one of my videos, since I dont know how to upload a video :/ but I definitely use it on smaller windows.

I'm intrigued. Can I trust the reviews on Gearbest?

Meh. Looks like it would take almost as much time setting it up and moving it around as it just would to actually clean the windows manually. Especially if you just use a power-washer and squeege on the outside.

I wonder how many people do not know that most newer windows will tilt in for easy cleaning.... I didn't know until I saw my girlfriend do it years ago.

I'm a professional window cleaner and MOST windows do not tilt in for easy window cleaning. Occasionally, higher end frames will have that feature, but it is fewer than 10% in my experience here in central Oregon. Most have at least one REMOVEABLE pane but for double hung windows, or those that are especially wide/tall, that does not help too much for accessing the exterior side of the stationary pane from inside.

All that said, I have my doubts that this thing could really clean a window as well as a skilled (and scrupulous) professional.
