Older tech, lowerish refresh rate (speculative since it's so hard to stabilize 120hz+ on these wide panels), and freesync

Tom's Hardware gave this monitor a good review [tomshardware.com] back Sept 2015. It was presumably priced at MSRP then (~$1300) -- so $439.99 is a steal for the quality. Definitely qualifies as a slick deal. Considering ordering one -- thanks OP

Curved Immersion
Sharp 1900R1 curved screens provide more impressive experiences.

75 Hz, unless you're somehow overclocking it by almost 50%. Still a great deal though. The newer model is almost $800 and doesn't seem to have better specs, although it probably fixed (or attempted to) whatever problems this one likely had.

It's an older version and it's a freesync and it can only run 75hz but it's good deal for $430

How did you get it to run at 85hz on an nvidia gpu?

Overclocking a monitor isn't based on the gpu, it's based on the panel

This panel skips frames when overclocked past 60hz if you are not using freesync which the nvidia cards don't use. So how did you do it?

Own it. Love it. Fury X keeps everything at 75hz and that's good enough for me. Paid 670 1.5 years ago. This price is great IMO.
