I find the handle on this model awkward. The next size up is more agreeable for those with larger or smaller hands.

Thanks for sharing this great find. Every Fiskars garden tool I've purchased, from their garden shears to a reel mower, has been high quality and made to last.

Totally agree! A bit more expensive, but worth it!

Grips do look a bit short.

Won't that type of grip wear out? I have a set of shears over 15 years old but all metal grip. Curious how long the soft grip would last before being destroyed

That little orange clip -- the thing that keeps the blades together when not in use -- is the biggest point of failure in this product. Then, once that clip is broken and gone, there's a much larger risk of the spring popping out and being lost forever. At that point the thing is completely useless.

There might be a warranty for it...? Don't know. Never cared to look into it. Anyway, a metal latch or hook would be preferable to a plastic sliding mechanism for locking the blades closed.

The reel mower might be decent quality, but is not very functional. The bar that goes across the front pretty much doesn't let tall grass get cut by the blade. If you let your grass grow just a little too long, you end up wasting your time.
