I paid $298 with $50 NetFlix GC several months ago from BuyDig.

Just want to say that its not that comfortable. Sounds good but clamp is little too strong.

I agree. The headband is not that comfortable compared to my bose qc15. Other than that I like the sound and noise cancellation

Still not good. Once you've tried bose QuietComfort, everything else feels like a jagged rock on your ears.
But you get better sound quality (debatable) and noise cancellation with these.

These are better than the Costco versions and they include the speaker for what, ~$50 more? The Costco ones include an extra year of warranty and costco's return policy though.

If i had to do it again, i would get the Bose QC 35ii even though it had "only" 20 hours. Haha. I got greedy and bought Sony because of "features" and 30 hrs battery.

In fact i should sell the Sony on eBay and get Bose...hmmmm

I tried both, as well as the Bose QC35. The Sony H900N are right in the mix with the other two with the sound and NC quality. It comes down to comfort and price. What's comfortable for me, may be completely different for you. For more than $50 less than the 1000s(at these prices) and basically HALF THE PRICE of the Bose!!! I went with the H900Ns and have no regrets.

Yup this was exactly what I arrived at. The QC35 are very comfortable, I love the physical buttons but they aren't worth 2x the price of the H900. The WH1000 I found insanely uncomfortable with glasses, I constantly had to adjust them.

Pretty happy with the H900 so far!

For comfortable and NC, go with Bose. The add on speaker is worth only 20$.
