Very tempting. Still leaning towards the speedwoofer 10s by RSL, but this is a great price for this woofer if you lean towards its sound profile

Not an outright comparison, but: https://www.audioholics.com/subwo...-10201d-12 has a great review (and they take into account the fulll msrp when giving the recommendation).

TL;DR:
'just from glancing at them, they might look like bruisers that are geared for low-frequency effects for movies, but their superb accuracy makes them ideal for dedicated music systems as well. There may be other subs around the same pricing that can produce more SPL, but few can achieve the loudness levels that these do with near picture-perfect behavior. Indeed, in our brutal testing, their sophisticated digital processing restricted them from going into ranges of excursion that would have placed the drivers in harm. These subs are bulletproof, so users don't need to worry about over-driving them; they can't be over-driven.

Don't we usually downvote random items as deals from sitewide coupon codes that have their own threads?

I picked this one out to post due to a pretty strong following and search for the 10,12 and 15" Monolith. People usually wait for a thread to pop up and then buy.

I agree - everything is 20% off on eBay, but people forget that things like this are on there and some business sell directly as well. I've actually gotten about 30 PM's from members on AVSFORUM thanking me for posting this on Slickdeals as they were waiting for a drop.

I have duals. The 15s are 140lb beasts that are just amazing. At this price cannot be beat. At normal price either.

Can anyone confirm if this will still get the 5 year warranty as stated on monoprice.com (https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=24456) or if it has the 1 year warranty noted on the listing?

I tried asking monoprice.com support and they told me to contact Ebay.

Isn't that one sealed? It is usually a preference thing, with my opinion being that any ported subwoofer can not come close to the quality and clarity of sealed.
Comparison with other ported subs would be a fair fight. The SVS subs are a step above.

My understanding is Monolith 10 is between SVS PB100 and SVS PB12-NSD. Given PB1000 about the same price as SB1000, I think Monolith 10 is better than SB1000. Of course, it depends on many factors, room size, etc.

They are saying that eBay controls the warranty

I was told that Monoprice handles the warranty and the warranty on their website where it lists their general warranty terms says 1-year. But if you click on the subwoof it calls out 5-years. I messaged the "seller" to see what they come back with.
