This isn't a deal on the router. The deal is the coupon code that gets you 20% off everything on eBay, until 7PM. This is disingenuous at best.

Ok, I didn't know $80 off and possibly the lowest replicable buying deal on it was a bad deal. But go ahead and wait for it to go back up to $400. For those who have alerts setup and are looking for a router, maybe this leads them to find the product they've been waiting for a sale on.

Are we debating the method in which you get the deal or the end result here?

By this logic, you could list every single item on eBay...

And what do you see on the Front Page of this site right now? Your point?

To you, but you just sit around poo pooing deals. Tell me where you can get this cheaper right now. If I've helped one person I've done my part. If everyone stood by your logic, nothing would get posted because there's always a deal out there you just have to find it.

Only a fool judges those he knows not. If you're looking, have you tried eBay? They've got a 20% off coupon running until 7PM. 20% off anything you want (almost,) up to $100.

Guess you're calling yourself a fool then by implying I was disingenuous huh? Judging by what you do not know. Since you also do not know and are a fool, I found the 20% off and then looked for the routers on ebay that I have posted several deals in the past day or two on to add to community awareness. Why don't you do something useful and help people find stuff like this to save them some $$$

Not at all. I didn't post this. Nor did I make a statement about you. Your action was disingenuous. (At best.) You should really work on your comprehension.

Man have you guys been fighting all day about this? This was just going on in the other Asus router thread lol.

Now my two cents on the deal, if you really want this router but dont care about storage performance through the usb port pass on this and just get the RT version. This GT is identical to the RT but in the GT they fixed storage performance and put the RPOG emblem on it. Since I dont ever plug in usb hard drives for network sharing to my routers it was a mute point for me. I use a NAS for that stuff. I got my RT for around $220 from newegg on a deep sale so its worth it to save that much money.
