Not really any reason to get a 43" 4K TV unless you're sitting a few feet away. Go 49"

True, any experience with the 49" as PC monitor? Figure I will repurpose it at the end of it's life.

That's a big monitor. Unless you really need a monitor that huge, just sell it in 3-4 years on LetGo and put that money towards a nice monitor.

As a monitor, 43" is preferable, given where you'll be seated vs. the monitor and the fact that the 49" decreases the pixel density.

As a TV, if you have the room, the 49" is better.

I want to use it as both. Maybe the 43" then for once?

Might wanna google what TV's succeed at doubling as a monitor. Lots of things to consider. Most TV's don't have display port. Keep that in mind.

Any TV that has an hdmi port will work as a monitor. Most newer pcs have an hdmi out

Been waiting for months for the 75" TCL to go on sale. Going to bite the bullet and pay full price soon but I know as soon as I do, it'll pop up on slickdeals.
