Worldwidestereo via ebay has the Onkyo-TX-NR676-7-2-Channel-Network-A-V-Receiver-w-Spotify-Airplay-amp-Chromecast for 297$.

Apply 20% ebay PICKDADSGIFT code and get this for less than 250$.. i had to pay 17$ tax.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/371938555617

Worldwidestereo is an authorized onkyo reseller which means you get the full 2 year manufacturer warranty for parts and labor. Also 60 days returns.

It could be due to a duplicate thread that i posted while OP was posting his..this is a good deal imo.. Ive seen several threads for the same receiver for 260$ from unauthorized resellers receiving reps..

Are you sure they're authorized seller? Not on Onkyo list

Ah. there it goes. My bad. Need some coffee. laugh out loud

Got a TX-NR626 for $60 off Craigslist last year. Wondering if 676 is worth the upgrade. Seems like mostly Atmos and Dolby:X

But Audessy MultiEQ seems better than Onkyo AccuEQ

i have this unit which i purchased during black friday i believe at $250 plus tax from best buy. it sat in the box for 4 months. finally i decided to install it to replace my sony str-dn1030 only because i wanted to be 4k ready for an lg oled 65 inch. after installation i was pleased with the interface, number of hdmi ports and simpler remote control. i was disappointed at the sound volume level. the Onkyo could not get as high volume as the sony and the the surround sound seem the same even after i played dolby atmos content. the sound did seem noticeably cleaner and precise than the sony. overall i would say this is a decent unit with quality sound but not the huge upgrade i was expecting. if i had to do it again i would go higher for a receiver that is capable of handling not just 4K HDR with dolby atmos but also Dolby Vision ready. review all your needs before making big choices.

The NR626 can't do 4K because it is not HDMI 2.0 or HDCP 2.2. It only uses HDMI 1.4a

So you're getting 4K compatibility plus Atmos and DTS:X and Dolby Vision and HDR
