For what it's worth, I have consistently found the Sago Mini series to be decent quality, free of ads or freeemium junk, and popular with little kids. There is a lot of garbage out there posing as kids' apps, but Sago Mini and Toca Boca tend to be the best from what I can tell, and that's why you see them come up as slick deals when they are free.

Why would users post games with 10k-50k downloads which aren't a deals, but obvious garbage?

Yes just tried this out with son and found amazingly that it hasn't asked to purchase anything in app or shown any ads. Refreshing.

And yes the game is simple and pointless for an adult, so obviously we aren't the target users.

Thanks for sharing OP.

I second the thumbs up for Sago Mini and Toca Boca . Dr Panda had a lot of great kids apps originally, but some of their newest apps are now freemium with in-app purchases. So you now have to double check sometimes.

I downloaded it and tried it. Not garbage. Pretty well done, though not very big. Just a half dozen little farm scenes. But my 2 year old thought it was fun. Got us through a meal when we went out to eat.
