I bought one of these in January for $23.97, and another one in March for $19.99 (both on Amazon lightning deals). These are long lasting and very well made. They are also HUGE. If size isn't a factor, this is a fantastic price.

Hurricane season in Florida. Don't know where you live but we can be without power for over a week because of these things that apparently don't hit where you go camping...

This is a very simple situation. This is essentially a "universal battery", no more, no less. If a device can be charged or powered via USB, then this device will do it.
I do not understand why you are so critical of something that is entirely utilitarian and very inexpensive; I would understand being apathetic about it but a negative reaction is strange.

When one considers there was a time that there were so many different types and sizes of batteries that they
A significant amount, almost all, electronic devices have benefited in usability from the phenomena of the last decade universal adoption of smart phones making especially rechargeable battery tech. available in even low end devices.
Given how unfathomably cheap battery tech. has become that something like this exists in such a small form factor, how can you not imagine the endless scenarios beyond just "gaming" that this would be an extremely practical purchase?
These inexpensive, gigantic milliamp hour battery packs charge other devices with a wide variety of voltage and amperage needs extremely safely and competently, but, to be so reliable, they themselves do not charge quickly.

I've thrown out/recycled so many battery banks out of frustration from how they rarely indicate neither how much charge they have left, nor do I know off hand what each ones capacity (and how usable it is for the matter) is when grabbing one for an urgent matter ; many of them , though competently large enough in their short day, can't even charge one device fully.

Sure, gaming is a high use power situation, but leisure activities are not the only situation that a lot of power is needed in the least. Everything from your car battery (this doesn't have enough cold cranking amps to jump start a car but it would certainly be able to charge a portable specialized charger that everyone should keep in their car) to everything needed in the modern professional office based careers would absolutely need such a device on hand.

If you cannot envision the scenario, then this is simply not for you; why criticize people who do need it though?

Slightly lower than a $19.99 lightning deal on March 7th of this year, big but a solid power bank with high capacity. Exceeds my rule of thumb for at least 1000mAh per dollar. In for 2!

Under what situation it will need 4 charges without using a wall charger?
Camping without a car for 4 days? Non-stop gaming and watching video?

It seems to me too large and heavy for everyday carrying for emergency charging purpose.

This! When I was a Teanager East Texas was hit by a ice storm must have been 2000 or 2001, we went without electricity for a week or two, in some places longer. It can happen anywhere. We didn't have smart phones but when I was doing relief work with the army in New Orleans after Katrina, my feature phone with primative internet access was better at keeping me informed than the Army units on the ground. I have a good amount of these large ones and a few with solar panels on them. I want to invest in a large solar panel like the ones that backpacker's sometimes carry. They are coming down in price. Almost there just not quite.

Read the 1 Star reviews. I'll stick with Anker, have used them for years and have never had a problem.

I own both this newer model and the older one with just a single recharge micro USB port. Both are solid devices, that said the older one has been going strong after almost 4 years of daily use! If I had a choice I would stick with the original model. It's actually about 3/4 inch shorter then this new dual microl USB model and the charge indicater LEDs are much brighter.
