The best knives from kershaw are the skyline and the leek. Each of them will go on sale for $30. Save and wait my slickdealers. Trust me on this one.

I got a couple a year or so back with the better steel. It's a small knife but useful for a lightweight EDC. I usually carry my Spyderco Rubicon but I carry this sometimes when I'm not working. Great price

Nice, this first version model is way better than the second.

Probably somewhat subjective. I like everything about the II though the blade design of the first version would probably be more useful overall. I hated ththink grip on my I and I stupidly bought white which looks dirty every five minutes.

You're not really comparing the same thing. Both of those knives are larger than the Shuffle, and lack the bottle opener and the flathead screwdriver.

I picked up the Cinder when it was $5 because I was tired of carrying larger knives and wanted to remove the bottle opener from my keyring. The Cinder has been a good fit, though there are times when I wish it were a bit bigger (it's itty bitty at 1.4"). The Shuffle might be perfect for me.

Agreed. I don't care for tanto blades and prefer the bottle opener and screwdriver position/design of the first one. There is literally nothing I like about the Shuffle II. As noted above, though, it's subjective.

I've been aiming for a spyderco for salt water use but I guess it has to be H-1 steel for that. How rust resistant is this one?

Let me say that the bottle opener on this thing sucks.

Instead of a can opener i'd rather have a tick remover.

I think if you were about to open a bottle of beer but had no opener and only had a skyline or leek, your statement may be challenged. There are different situations where one will outshine another.
