Got these 256GB from Ratuken for $85 a week ago. FYI - There seem to be a lot of "FAKE" for these Samsung brand/card. Mine tested on PC at R/W 80/70MB/s and on my galaxy s8 as R/W 70/40 MB/s. I guess I got a real one? Still, that's not exactly the advertised speed so it's not that great performance (if it was real). I have not tested my 2x128GB for $65.

About $2 less than Amazon. It's a fairly decent deal as I've been keeping tabs on the Amazon price for awhile now so I would say this par for the course. Though it has to be said that if you're outside of NJ and NY, no tax to worry about, unlike Amazon. If someone needs a card like this right now then they can't go wrong with this. As for me, I'm going to wait for the price to dip a little lower.

Damn, I wonder if I should bite this price imho is quite great. I'm getting the forms for price protection, still on the fence, this is a great price but already have a lot of $ out these last 2 months Stick Out Tongue

Thanks OP, this deal was actually slicker for me than the Rakuten one, due to the lack of sales tax.

How do these numbers compare to the minimum read and write speed? those are usually more important than the advertised max read and write.

I'm amazed this deal is still up. I thought it was going to be one day only. Anyway the card I bought from them works perfectly and doesn't get hot to the touch when transferring tons of files to it. It's a really good card at a great price.

Not too surprised; it's moving down the list of "big cards" soon since PNY will be releasing their 512GB soon[TM] (though at $300+). Got two of these 256GB free with the Note 7 promotion; decent cards, FWIW.

Nice I am looking forward to the 512GB and driving prices down. 256GB is quite large enough for me. I have less than half filled so far. Awesome card.

512 is (finally) enough to hold my entire work Dropbox account so I'll probably refresh to it once the prices drop below about $250. Sadly, it's the only way to get more storage in a SurfacePro short of buying a new one and paying extortion prices for the internal M.2.

What apps will actually store data on SD? I've got a 128GB and can't get stuff to store data on it even when formatted as Internal. Is it the way Android handles displaying the storage or does it stage data to sd once the actual internal nand starts to get near critical free space? For instance Spotify won't store dl'ed songs on external. 2 factory resets of the device and multiple uninstall/reinstall of the app?

I can't say for certain what apps will store locally vs sd card because I only use mine to store pics and vids.
