Pretty sure you're thinking of the smaller capacity 1.0L. This is the 1.7L and the lowest price was $64.40 back in November of '17:

Any significant pros or cons regarding the size (other than the amount of water, that is...)

Meaning - 1.0L will cover me 75% of the time... Trying to decide if 1.7L is worth it to avoid a second boil (when I have guests, for example)
