Great idea. So where's your list of Directv Now subscribers willing to do that?

No need to buy this if you're an AT&T wireless subscriber with an unlimited plan. HBO is included for free with your wireless plan via Directv Now.

It's too bad Direct TV Now sucks. I'm willing to pay more for PlayStation Vue and pay extra for HBO and Cinemax just for a better UI, better on demand and a less buggy service

I'd gladly pay $14.99/month to avoid having to deal with AT&T.

have you tried it lately? Last day for ATV deal and the DTVN 2.0 is out of beta. They just patched up the Roku 2.0 app today. The Chrome tab, FTV2 and android all work better now for me. Still a big YMMV, some people won't have the right gear or live in the wrong spot.

DirecTV Now just recently added the option to add an extra simultaneous stream, for 3 total, for just $5 extra a month. I got in when they first started so i'm paying $35 for the Go Big 100+ channel package ($60 currently), plus $5 for HBO, plus $5 for 3rd stream, so $45 plus tax. Great deal for me and it works great, EXCEPT no OFFICIAL AndroidTV app, but you can sideload a modded version that works fine on the Nvidia Shield or Xiaomi Mi Box.

The app kicked my credentials out so I need to log back in but I'll check it out

This service costs $15/mo... Who in marketing decided that $25 (instead of $30) was a good denomination for a gift card? "Hey buddy, I bought you 1 and 2/3 months worth of HBO Now!"

That's just annoying.

The point is to get you to link a credit card to your account in order to use up the remainder and then forget about your subscription, so they can continue to charge you.

You cannot purchase 2/3 of a month of service, so you either link a card or eat the loss.

Many people sign up for recurring services and then just let them run.
