Newegg has a 10% off coupon on a couple of MSI GTX 1060 6GB cards.
One is with a single fan for $300-$30 coupon - $20 rebate = $250.
The other one is with dual fans for $310 - $31 coupon - $20 rebate = $259 (+$20 Steam code)

Cheaper single fan card ($250 ARC/AC):

Bigger dual fan card ($259 AC/AR):

This one also includes $20 Steam code.

10% off code: 608CWSCS7

I have used both in the past, I would not care for a single or dual fan thought latter seems a bit quieter, but more flexible as it's bigger too without the backplate.

Very similar performance - 580 does slightly better in some games (especially Vulcan games like Doom) while the 1060 does slightly better in others. 580 uses more power and tends to run slightly hotter but it is AMD so you can use freesync monitors which are a lot cheaper than g-sync.

28 cards, really? I hope you don't get more than $100 total for all of them when you try to dump them.

'Way way better' would be something like a 1080Ti vs a 1050. The difference between this card and an EVGA is negligible.

Should GPU price drop lower or is this a great buy? I'm in the market for one. I almost bought the EVGA 3GB GTX 1060 off ebay when it was 20% off the other day. Wondering if I should wait or not

What makes one version of the 1060 different from another, assuming they are both 6GB?
No. They actually all perform almost identical. Some a slightly higher clocked, but they basically come down to the coolers on them and the brand name for customer service and warranty. They definitely differ for ease of rma.

I'd wait, but my old card that does fine for me at 1080.

Around this time a year ago, cards had been dropping a lot lower, than current prices. Then there was a new wave of mining, and prices shot up big in one month, and stayed high. Seems like it's going down, but who knows. I plan to wait on way better deals, but if you can't game right now, you might not have much of a choice.

Just picked up a used PNY 1050ti XLR8 4gb to hold me over until the new GPUs come out. Is this worth grabbing? With tax I'm paying 275ish. I read somewhere the card doesn't use the full 6gb.
