This'll be a front page deal as $24.99 is about as low as it goes for this popular and useful set. The $100 regular price is misleading as it never sells for that and is regularly on sale for around $30. This is a great price, especially if you combine it with Shop Your Way coupons or points.

But don't feel bad if you miss out on it this time, as it it hits this price several times per year. (Slickdeal history)

This set is all Torx and Hex/Allen in most of the common sizes frequently encountered on modern vehicles and equipment with a few slotted and phillips thrown in. You need a regular socket set for your lug nuts and most oil drain plugs.

SAE Hex (1/4" drive): 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8"
SAE Hex (3/8" drive): 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8"
Metric Hex: 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10mm
Torx: T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40, T45, T47, T50
External Torx: E6, E7, E8, E10, E12, E14, E16
Slotted: 7/32", 9/32", 3/8"
Phillips: #1, #2, #3

I just wish it was heavier in the metric hex, as about the only time I need SAE hex is for the odd plumbing job.

To remove lugnut needs a keys around 21mm. And I think the oil drain nut is around 14mm. Other size commonly use is 10mm.

This set goes up to 10mm. That's 1 out of 3.... which is a fail grade for my use.

You are a fail grade for this thread. Completely irrelevant to this set.

This is not a socket set... it's a hex/torx driver set.

SAE what?
SAE hex, which it's got twice as many of because imperial is dumb and has way too many measurements?

SAE hex has 3/16-3/8, which is more sizes, but is actually the same as the metric options (4-10mm)

I got this at $30 about six months ago and am really happy, I use it way more than I thought I would, it been really handy on my Ford truck. The tools all feel pretty solid, better than some other new Sears stuff I've gotten. No idea why. It does go on sale a lot, but usually at $30.

I don't think I've ever worked on my car without using something from this set.
