Since E3 2014, EA made EA Access/Origin free for a week, I would wager between the 9th‒17th. This will be confirmed/denied in 3-ish hours from now. Though Xbox One users would need Xbox Live Gold (based on last year).

Right now Fifa 18 is also on a free weekend with Gold, but still hasn't been added to EA Access... it's like 2 months late. In the past they added Fifa around the time the MLS season started, or when the Premier League was done... still waiting as of right now... it's getting ridiculous

Well, you need either EA Access or Origin Access, the former is for XB1 and the latter is on PC.

Oh, I wasted my time. No origin access here. Half price so net a bad deal, just not what I'm looking for.

And they probably won't put it in the vault until the World Cup is over. They're going to capitalize off of that as much as they can before it goes in the vault

A year of EA Access is fairly easy to snag for $24 and there are currently 62 games in the EA vault. So you're saying $2 a month for access to 62, mostly AAA titles, isn't a great deal?

It looks like you're probably right. They are offering Fifa 18 free to play from the 9th-15th, leading up to the WC, they'll probably try to capitalize on sales over that period, then it'll be added to EA Access after WC is over.

God I hate EA sometimes. If I knew they were going to screw EA Access users this bad, I would have waited to renew my membership until Fifa was actually added to the vault.
