So, I've been watching the prices on this phone, and this is the best price it's been in a long time. It's got the best battery time and the (supposed) best camera out of all the HSN Tracfones, and it's got Nougat (whereas many other phones have Marshmallow). No gorilla glass, but other phones that do have it (like the Sky Pro) don't seem to have better durability reviews.

I'm pulling the trigger on this and hoping that it will wind up being a good quality phone. If nothing else, the year of service (for me) is worth the price alone. For users like me who have very low minute, text, and data needs, I run out of service time before I run out of anything else (thanks to basically spending all my time around wifi).

Standard warning with Tracfone, though: If you're the kind of person who uses a lot of texts/minutes/data, this might not be the best option for you. It only gives you 1500/1500/1.5gb for the whole year. Since it is NOT a triple minutes phone, you should consider all your price options carefully. It might be better for you to buy one of the few remaining triple minutes phones if you're the kind of person who finds they constantly need refills.

Have to wonder what's going on with latest LG Tracfones. I had to return 2 of the Rebel 3 models (signal issue on one & other wouldn't activate), & reading the reviews on the Fiesta 2 from low to high there seems to be recurring issues with that model as well. Might be a reason the price keeps dropping for these.

Does this phone have a notification light? Not a third party app, but a LED that flashes.

Lg must have qc problems brand wide, that's why I returned a LG v20.. I now have a used Moto Z2 force att unlocked on mint mobile... I probably could have stayed on trac another year but the killing off of triple buckets was the final straw for me.

this phone usually goes on sale for 10 bucks WITHOUT having to buy a plan. it's the best phone out there for beer money activities, i already have 3 of them. switch brightness to a minimum and you will get 16 hours of screen time without a sweat

It's equal to or better than the J3 (Luna Pro) in most every way. The J7 (Sky Pro) would be the roughly equivalent Samsung model.

They are different manufacturers, though, so they have different pre-installed software (Samsung customization stuff), and of course different levels of build quality (some say the LG phones are not as good, but I haven't had that experience myself).

Yes, if you're looking for the phone only (no minutes) you can find it for cheaper. But this is the cheapest I've seen this phone with a year of service and 1500min/1500text/1.5Gb. In fact, it's cheaper than the average price for a one-year card by itself, and that only comes with 1200/1200/1.2 (assuming you've got triple minutes).

Are you sure that's the Fiesta 2 & not the first generation? Even on Tracfone site this model without minutes is more than that.

Tracfone requires 12 months of paid service before unlocking.

I got this phone back in March 2018 from HSN, same deal. My service with Tracfone was due to expire and I decided to get a new phone deal that was cheaper than just renewing the year's service on the previous phone. Phone has worked out great. It is a Fiesta 2 LTE.
