Posting this as an example of what is possible these days with EV incentives and discounts. Just bought this last night.

Nissan of San Francisco
2018 SV with Tech package, Protection package, Floor mats, splash guards, premium pearl white paint.

MSRP: $36,595
Negotiated price: $28,983 (threatened to walk out several times)

Doc fee: $80
EV registration: $29
Sales tax: $2796
State fees: $412

Total out-the-door: $32,300

Final cost after federal tax credit, CA state incentive, and PG&E electric utility rebate: $21,800

The dealer forced me to take a 5.5% interest loan with NMAC. Will be paying that off in the next few days. Minimum finance charge adds $75 to the OTD cost.

hedgefundie,

u listed 3 rebates for $7500 so with the fed credit of $7500 does that mean $32,300 less $7500 rebates less $7500 fed tax credit = $17,300?

No. The three rebates I listed above are applied by the dealer and get you down to $32300, which is the out-the-door price.

After the purchase you can apply for the $7500 federal credit, the $2500 CA state credit, and the $500 PG&E rebate. Which brings the final price to $21800.

I got SV pearl white for $29,500 (out the door) in San Diego. Not sure if this was a good deal. It doesn't have Tech package and Protection package though. May be this deal is same as your.

Aren't the used values for these EV's dropping like a rock ?

May be a better deal to get a used one perhaps ?
