Probably to collect people's information and then sell it to some unscrupulous third party for unsolicited advertising/spam purposes.

I bought one of these thinking it wouldn't hurt but now I'm getting these random unknown callers calling me out of the blue. When I try calling any of the numbers back it says this number is no longer in service.
