Remember get another 5& off with a target red card.

Sorry I did not see the small print excluding Att prepaid card. I went on chat with a guy using the att prepaid card and he gave me the discount anyway. Since At&T card was on the website the chat person honored it. So att card maybe a big YMMV..

Same as the 10% off refills sales they've run a few times recently. Have to wonder why Target decided to put a new spin on it by going the buy 1, get 1 20% off route.

That said, these are always great deals especially if you have a RedCard for an additional 5%.

i guess Target gets a kickback from these carriers on the quantity - therefore, that's one way to increase the sales.

I don't know about kickbacks, but buying in pairs makes sense for a slight increase in sales. Didn't even stop to consider that as I, and many SDers, aren't buying just one at a time.

It's interesting that this deal shows a picture of an AT&T Prepaid card, considering that they are excluded from the sale.

I connected the url with the weekly sale advertisement which I thought you could order from. Apparently, It can't be ordered from the circular. I did a query and redid the connection and now you can buy the cards. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Target did this back in April, too.

Already carrying a 5-month credit on Cricket. No real reason to change, but there will likely be another sale before the well runs dry. Only way to discount phone service is this way. Sucks if you're not a hump & dump carrier whooaarhh, and just want plain old wireless service with the one that works great in your area that doesn't involve porting every month or so.

I only buy unlocked phones to start with, so it's just the hassle to hustle.

The Sprint $15/mo deal seems pretty competitive to Cricket, even with these percent off promos. Of course there's always the free promotion as well for single line users. I suppose families with multiple lines could also split up an existing family plan and have everyone sign up for individual free Sprint plans too
