Very clever how they're doing lots of "installment" points deals, but I can do enough different ones to make it worth my while once they are combined. Always check expiration dates. They are making most of these where the prior installment expires before the following one hits. You could always wait until the end of the month to claim this one, so the installments will actually end up stacking. Thanks for sharing.

for the previous kmart 30$ back on 30$ one, they canceled one of my items, so my total go under $30, eventually I didn't get the points. Good luck shopping.

I ordered a pack of black mens undershirts and they sent me grey. No possible way to replace or reorder. If I return them i'll lose $45 in points. After an hour on the phone they said they would refund my card half the price of the shirt and I could keep them. They never gave me a penny back and it was a hassle to explain it to 5 different people in the first place.

Their mistake but I'm the one penalized.

Use points first. Then return.

Never ever call Sears customer service. Well, you can if you want, but it's just a waste of time. They will put you on hold forever and transfer you to a foreign call center that follows scripts, even when an alternative resolution makes 10x more sense. Just play the points game until it's not worth it to you anymore.

Could you return them to a competitor's store and do a no-receipt exchange? That could work unless they're Craftsman brand or something.

They deduct the value of the points from the return though

Sounds like every experience with Sears customer service that I've had. There's a reason they're going under

They can do replacement in store if there is still one around. I've done that at kmart and sears and all points stayed.

They don't carry them in stores near me.

That's what I was thinking too - buy a few of those Installment items you may need so you get more points to use every month...
As long as you have something to use them for....
I don't think there are any Kmarts left in my area While local Sears is the one I almost never shopped at.. No wonder I still have over $300 in points since December

Sears CS is the worst! I cancelled an online order and never picked it up. It took me 3 weeks, 4 calls to customer service who told me I had picked it up already, two voicemails to the store (yes, no one even picks up the phone), an email to the CEO of Sears before an executive did confirm that I never picked it up and got it refunded. This is what happens when you outsource literally all of your customer service off shores.

I guess I'm going to reluctantly go into the store. I know mine won't be open forever and this is a decent amount of points back. I'm just running out of stuff I need at Sears since they never change over stock.
