(The band) Tool's entire LP catalog on CD is for sale at Amazon for $9.99 each. Their EP 'Opiate' is also available for $9.99 if you are interested, but it regularly sells for less than that. Many might balk at buying CDs much less paying $10 for an album these days, but Tool does not license their music to any streaming service so this is the only medium (or vinyl) that you can experience it in. Many of these albums (ie. 10,000 Days) haven't been $9.99 for quite awhile, although they usually sell for $11-15 each. Not huge savings, but I wanted to share this decent sale since many might like the opportunity to pick up Tool's catalog all at once for an excellent price. Supposedly they are working on their long-awaited 5th album. They tour much more regularly than they record, and I would highly encourage all to catch their excellent live shows when they come through your town.

I don't miss cracked, scratched, and bit rotted CDs one bit. Streaming and vinyl FTW.

To each their own. I own 100+ CDs/DVDs and none are cracked, scratched, or otherwise ruined unless I was the one responsible. I personally feel vinyl is way more fragile, but I agree that the format is nearly defunct now that unlimited data plans are prevalent. But for road trips or "sharing" music with friends, CD all the way. Especially for streaming hold-outs like Tool or Bob Seger. I hope it hangs around as long as vinyl does.

opiate has my vote for scariest album ever! wtf is maynard laying on in the liner photo? those damn lyrics still haunt me... that album COMPLETELY blew my little ol mind as a teenager (and surprisingly i grew up not to be a serial killer).

i'd definitely pay more than 10 bucks for a new tool album!

does the aenima album still come with the moving pictures (like those old stickers)? they had the moving album graphic; california breaking off into the ocean; couple others if i remember correctly... coolest CD packaging i have ever seen.
