This would be a great deal without rebate. It's worth $1200. I just sold this machine w/o video card and 8gb ddr4 for $750+ship.

I should note that delivery from HP was over 3 weeks for me in March. They came direct from China.

This isn't $980 for a computer, it's $1390 for a computer and a $400 mastercard gift card that arrives in the mail sometime months into the future. You can't deposit that money into a bank, or any other kind of financial account.

Rip off. You can build this for less and not deal with the problematic slickdeals rebate.

How reliable are the rebates? I'm considering this if the rebate is trustworthy.

I had to fight for my rebate in the past from SD and the value of it was way under $400. It was approximately $100. I will NEVER deal with rebates again especially for $400.

Not at all, I've heard it's just as hit or miss as any other rebates. I've only tried one (small) SD rebate, followed it perfectly and never received it.

Absolutely no way in hell I would risk a $400 rebate, but that's just me.

No issue. I'm running a i5 with 1070 with a 450w. 10 series are low power consumption. The 1070 won't pull more than 200w at peak.

No integration, just remove side cover pop off a few screws and unclip it and you're good to go.
