This is the brand that all the contractors use in most cases.

You are thinking Black and Decker.
Hahaha. No I'm thinking building a CVS, etc. Everybody using DeWalt.

Black and decker is an inferior brand compared to DeWalt.

LOL... Dewalt IS Black and Decker

The comment was a joke referring to the commercials.

Larger companies will use snap on and same thing with on the job in the air force. DeWalt at home.

Ah, I missed that commercial. Although B&D and DeWalt are the same company, DeWalt was introduced by Black and Decker as their construction line and generally DeWalt is a better brand.

Mechanics? Maybe. Carpenters/Contractors will primarily use brands like Makita, Milwaukee and Dewalt.

Thank you, I thought I was obviously making a joke but I guess I forget not everyone can read sarcasm.

This is not the normal price. This set hits this price two times per year. at $549 it is a good deal too. I bought this set from Acme Tools for $549 no tax last year and it is really good. I have a bad habit of watching tool prices, specifically DeWalt because I keep buying more crap I dont need. But still, at $499 it is a great deal if you're in the market for these.

I thought the radio and the light were just padding the tool count, but the radio is super useful and portable. and the light comes in handy more often than not. The tools themselves seem to hold up well - but I am a DIY guy and not a contractor.
