I got 2 pairs of the A692 brown matte finish. I really like them so far. They're extremely light. I've only been wearing them for a month, so I can't speak to their durability. I sent a set to Replace A Lens for Rx. In total spent ~$110 with shipping which is less than what I paid for glasses 2 years ago that were partially covered by insurance.

After watching the documentary about how Luxottica monopolize the glasses industry on 60 Minutes, I don't feel like paying anything more than $10 for any brand of glasses frames. It's not that I am cheap, it is because the price is over inflated because there is just one source making the darn thing.

I just got some of these filled with lenses at Costco last week. There is a $25 charge for bringing in your own frames. For single vision I believe that my total was as follows

Bring your own frame: $25
Single Vision Lenses 1.67 index: $79.99
Blue light coating: $0.02

I suggest the blue light coating as it is basically free and all of us are staring at computer screens all day. They do add a very faint yellow tint but I stopped noticing after 5 minutes. The frames arrived a week later and they were able to adjust the frames on site with a heating device that allowed the acrylic to bend.

It is made from silhouette, in Austria. It is not sport eyewear.

Item description contradicts your statement:
"A proprietary material created by Silhouette Optical for sports eyewear allows for a lightweight and strong frame for athletics. "

Good to know. I have a frameless silhoutte and the temples broke within about 2 years. One side first, then the other side not too long afterwards. I replaced one of the temple, but when the other side broke I ended up discarding it. Cost quite a bit to replace the temple.

oh was hoping they were for running

not sure why people would wear adidas frames for day-to-day, weird
Perhaps for folks that are physical in their line of work like law enforcement or folks that require head protection who rather not risk of damaging their designer frames.

Any reviews from folks who bought this the last time? Fit and finish.

A bit off topic, but did you have a good experience with Replace A Lens? Would you use them again?

I've done 2 pairs with them and have had good experiences both times, so I'd recommend them. They have some really good deals some months that make it very affordable.

I haven't had a problem with them slipping. There are rubber studs on the ear pieces that keep them from slipping.
