Thanks OP - repped. This is an awesome way to cook - BUT I want to let folks know that 1.6 quarts is very small capacity. I have a 2.2 quart and as a single person I could use larger. It is because these cook best when only about 1/3 capacity is used - you don't fill them as the pictures show. The air blowing around the food is what does the trick - so that air needs room.

Kind of expensive for the small capacity I would pass on this. If you plan on cooking for one I would on a minimum get at least 3qt or equivalent for your manufacture. I guess this would be considered a single serving size but you will still probably be hungry if you plan on making this your main meal.

This is actually cheaper in store, $28.99. Not sure why. I put a full store inventory below. I should note my script isn't fully tested so it may have some issues. I've only used the script a few times and haven't gotten around to polishing it up.

I know people usually say they use these with frozen foods, but does anyone use them with homemade fries or chicken?

I have used an air fryer (different brand, bigger capacity) on fresh chicken - wings, drumsticks, thighs, whole and it does a good job cooking the chicken without oil. The end product looks like rotisserie chicken. To crisp the skin, I would spray a little oil on the skin and turn up the temp. I haven't try homemade fries, but the moisture in the fresh fries might make it hard to crisp, you may need to freeze them first for better result.
