I got in on this deal last week

https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/11670467

I picked it up at local store yesterday and set it up today. The TV was well packaged (double-boxed), much more so than the "Like new" C7P unit I got from Amazon that came cracked and dented. It came with all the stand and all original accessories. Checked the power-on hours and it has one single hour from my time playing with it before I mount it on the wall. My only complaint is the silver bezel that I can't unsee after looking at the C7P, but that's not really relevant to the deal. I'd also get the 4-year warranty in case of burn-in.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase so far and would recommend anyone interested to get on this deal. Another important benefit of buying it from Walmart is that you get 90 days to return it and can return it to a local store if you have any issues or find a better deal during the 4th of July sales.

No it won't. Black Friday deals are typically for shitty low end TVs. Good TVs usually don't go on sale and if they do it will be like 1 a store that you have to camp out for a week to get.

This looks like a great deal, but I'm curious as to what other people's experience with refurbished LG OLED tvs?

Got mine last week. Had nearly 500hrs on the clock. Otherwise it's like new. Could not find a single pixel defect or burn in.

Does the warranty cover burn in? What does "pixel failure" mean?

This is obviously the superior hardware, but it seems like either way you will be playing the panel lotto with the models in question.

I would love to buy one of these, but refurbished always scares me. Granted, I did purchase the old iPod video back around it's original release and it lasted nearly 6 good years before it "died of natural causes" so to speak. Usually I have to hear a lot of positive feedback before I pull the trigger on something like this.
