Not every one wants or certainly needs a pure sine wave model. This is a solid deal for the size and capacity, and APC is a very reputable brand.

Seems like a decent deal for the price point. It's $199 at OD, and it's on "clearance" for $139 at BB.

I already have a pure sine wave version, but this would be fine a decent chunk of people.

From http://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/pro...P-BX1500G:
  • Waveform Type: Stepped approximation to a sinewave

No pure sine wave - no deal.

Basically what I gathered from doing research. Maybe sound equipment for music studios might need this but for the majority of consumer electronics, they don't require it.

Anyone have a 25 off code they don't want? Can you pm me

Solid deal. If I hadn't bought CyberPower 1350VA for $65 from Google Express/Costco the other day I'd jump on this one.

Reminder: APC's Back-UPS line's software doesn't work with Windows Server 2016, if you use Windows Server 2016 look at another brand.

My computer's PSU (Seasonic) is reportedly very sensitive to artificial sine wave so I would absolutely opt for the pure sine wave models.
