T-Mobile is starting a new promotion tomorrow (June 14th) which is better than their past offers. It's supposed to be a "very limited time" offer.

I'll try to break down the details as simply as possible:

With the purchase of 2 iPhone X/8/8+/7/7+ (in any combination), get up to $700 back in rebate or bill credits.

For prepaid card, phones need to purchased at full price from Apple Store or Costco.
For bill credits over 24-months, devices must be bought under an installment ($0 down, no interest fees) through T-Mobile.

At least 1 new line (2 for new customers) must be added on select plans to qualify.

Pros:
a. Rebate is also available in the form of a prepaid Mastercard
b. No port-in or trade-in required
c. Apple Store purchases are eligible (for those without Costco membership)

Cons:
a. New line(s) of service required (Qualifying rate plans are T-Mobile One, T-Mobile One Military and Simple Choice Unlimited with unlimited high-speed data)

To apply for rebate card after completing the purchase, submit a picture of the receipt along with appropriate promo code here: https://promotions.t-mobile.com/OfferSearch
Promo codes --- Apple Store: APL18JUNAPL, Costco: COS18JUNAPL
No submission is necessary if you're eligible for the bill credits instead.

Up to 6 discounted/free devices per account.

Like always nothing for old costumers, They do not care about client retention at all.

Once again. Simple choice without Unlimited data plan is not eligible. Adding that feature costs almost as much as I pay per line ($25/month w 4GB data). I hate Tmobile with their BS promotion

1. You can buy a factory unlocked phone(don't have to use it on T-Mobile network for 40 days for them to unlock)
2. You can get a universal model that works on all the carriers. If you get from Costco, it only works on GSM carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and their MVNOs but NOT on CDMA carriers like Verizon, Sprint and their MVNOs.

I don't understand the push to make existing customers change service. I don't want to go to ATT but necessary to get a deal on new phones.

If going Apple/Costco route, I think that'll work.

Can you port out a line to H2O today and add a new line with new # tomorrow? Will the recently cancelled line affect the prepaid rebate?

When you submit the rebate request, they ask for your IMEI, which I guess will be used to lock your phone to their network?

New iphones in three months. Iphone 8 body style gone for good, cheaper X model. No wonder T-Mobile is pushing this now.

Line 1 and 2 is $120 total. Line 3-8 is $20 extra per. Line 9-12 is $30 extra per.
So for 6 lines you would pay $200 total including taxes etc.

This does not require the Trade In of an old device; correct?

I know they have a bogo promo that ends today, but may wait to get our new ones tomorrow. Getting a new line is no big deal--just pay off the phone when you get your rebate, use said rebate to pay it off.

Get phone unlocked, and then close the 'new' line.

If a full/ or a rebate fore a fixed amount is offered, then yes--this should still apply.

Get Rebate, use it to pay off phone, get unlocked if need be, cancel line.
