I bought it on a previous deal and had nothing but issues and ended up refunding it (a bit of a hassle with nintendo)

I'll paste what I posted in the thread last time it was this price:
"In my 30 minutes of playing this morning, it crashed about 15 minutes in. After some pretty significant load times (relative to other switch games I've played) I get back into my save and it is glitched. I no longer have the Discovery tool which is essential to playing the game.
I looked through some menus to see if there was some way to recover it and the menus glitched out as well, the menus would close but still be active in the background so I have to navigate them blindly.

So, I delete that save and start again, right as I gain control of the character it crashes again. Now it does this every time I launch the game." I reinstalled and restarted the switch a few times as well.

Hope that helps.

I read others in response to that indicate that those issues had been fixed with an update. My son has reported no problems, and the little of it I've played has been fine.

The Switch version of Lego City Undercover is a lot of fun. My 8 year old whips my ass on couch co-op though

Rep'd. Thanks for the feedback. My son plays with Lego, likes the games, but really loves Minecraft on the console. So maybe my money is better spent there.

Same. I hear it's pretty short and a "one and done" type of game, but people seem to really enjoy what there is.

Going to bite on it for $10.

As have I, but they never really fixed any of the performance issues despite updating the game five times since release. It's been a couple months since the last update and they are radio silent about fixing it anymore, so I'm not holding my breath that the game will ever run the way it ought to.

Since Hollow Knight just came out, I think I'll just stick with giving my money to the devs who didn't try and cash in with a shoddy port.

LEGO City undercover is good for a wide age range. My 4 year old enjoys playing by herself in open world, just driving around cars and crashing breaking things up Smilie

My 6 and 4 year olds co-op together all the time. Great game!
