4k and 3500 lumens. Pretty good. Someone tell me why this model is bad right quick!

Brighter isn't always better.

This should be a front page deal, first 4k projector I've seen under a grand by a legit seller.

This is a great projector for rooms with light, projector central even liked it a little more over the Benq TK800 which is $500 more!

Only major drawback on this is no 3d support, have to go to the TK800, HT2550, UHD51A, HC4000 or UB5040 for 4k proj. with 3d support.

oh, and in before all the " not true 4k" comments by idiots.... :-)
I assume that means it uses pixel-shifting?

DLP. https://www.viewsonic.com/us/px747-4k.html

I want this, even though I have no 4K source material to use on it.

As a person with 18TB's of 3D Blu Ray ISO movie files, I LOVE 3D. But I would not consider the lack of 3D to be a "major" drawback for the average consumer now a days...

How's the re-sale value on projectors? I would buy this to 'try' for a few months and then highly likely ebay/craigslist it.

Can anybody answer a question on throw ratio? Is it screen size over distance, or distance over screen size? I have never been able to figure out which one comes first.
