Staples [staples.com] has the Dell S2817Q 4K UHD LED monitor for $234.99 when you apply coupon code 62817 at checkout. Shipping is free or choose store pickup where available.

This has a TN panel, but it gets good to above average reviews. The next lowest price I could find was from B&H for $320. Dell themselves sell this for $400.

UPDATE: I see SDers confirming that they are stacking coupons successfully. Before you buy a coupon on eBay or elsewhere, try codes 74021 or 90011 for an additional $25 off. Though these are targeted codes, I tried 74021 and it stacked for me. For those getting this to work, I've also added a list of great prices on approx. 500GB SSDs in the wiki.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Probably because they figure you'd rather not sit in front of a monitor when you could be out surfing or getting leid

I have a pair of these at work. They are good monitors, but definitely not amazing colors or style. My much cheaper 1080p 23 inch dell monitors that I used to have had better colors and looked nicer, but these are great for productivity. I will add that most of my coworkers have these scaled up 125% or 150% since everything is so small. 30 inches and up is where I feel comfortable scaling 4k to 100%.

What's the Adobe RGB spectrum on this bad boy? Might be a great deal if it has accurate colors.

"72% NTSC color gamut" according to dell product page. That's not horrible, but it won't look at pretty as their P2715Q for sure. Guess I'll wait on that one to go on sale

Anyone have an opinion (preferably based on experience) about using a TN panel rotated 90 degrees? I need a second vertical screen and this looks appealing.

After buying a ips screen for the 1st time ever I'll never go back to a tn panel.
The price is great for a big 4k monitor but ill gladly pass on this one.

The only exception for me is 240hz. I will TN for that but IPS or bust on everything else... well... or OLED.
