Hi,

Orbit Sprinkler Catch Cups (12 pack) are on sale for father's day with the coupon code: SMARTDAD65.
Normally they cost $28.73 and with the coupon it costed me $10.06 + $9.85 shipping. This is still not too bad.

You can use these with any smart controller. Also, water bill savings might pay for this over a month or two. At least, that's how I justified my purchase to my wife Smilie.

Coupon: SMARTDAD65

This is especially useful for people like me who bought Orbit Smart sprinkler system in the recent deals.

These cups will help you to figure out how much water your lawn is getting in each zone.
This help your Orbit b-hyve Smart watering to be smarter or if you manually controlling, it will help you to figure out whether you are over watering or under watering your lawn.

Hope this will be useful to you.

Nice but I refuse to pay almost as much in shipping as the item itself. Not to mention we are literally talking about customized $1 worth of plastic

I agree it's expensive for what it is. Unfortunately, I did not find a good alternative.
Also, it helps us to water the lawn properly. Hopefully, we will probably end up saving more (in water bill) than what we will be paying for this item.

In addition, I never saw this item go on sale before.

Why not just use a regular water cup? This seems expensive and not a slick deal.

Just use tuna cans. Only need them to calibrate your system and not all year round.
