They could still keep this game alive if they really wanted to.

I had such high hopes for this game. Game sucks but I upvoted for the price.

I know they patched in multiplayer, but if you're solo can you play offline?

Yes. The "multiplayer" isn't even real multiplayer since you can barely interact with other players.

This is barely a game, to be honest. All you can do is mine minerals and build bases. There's no real storyline and the goals in the game don't open up new abilities or do anything interesting.

I would agree, however, the game is adding multiplayer and more in July which might just make this game worth $15. Not much more though.

Agreed. If they had made it slowly unveil some sort of Excellence story when you find abandoned bases on different planets to pull you in, then it might have been something worth playing. But as it stands there really is no drive to continue to go from planet to planet and collect minerals. Once you have checked out a few planets then the game is basically over, in the sense that you have seen it all.

Shows up as $10 and in-stock at a Walmart near me. I'll go check it out to see if it's really there. At that price, I'll bite and hope the "upgrades" are worth it.

As someone who purchased day one, yes it is A VERY grindy game. I jump in every once in a while, just to give it another shot. It usually doesn't take too long to realize there's little to no substance in this game. I feel like Minecraft is more diverse and more compelling. At $15, I would purchase this knowing what I know now. Do not pay more for this game.

Can you explain the multiplayer? I thought it was going to be out in July and from what it sounded it adds exactly the interactivity we desired.

I actually like this game very much now that they fixed a lot of stuff. It is definitely grindy and repetitive but I had a blast. I was playing 12 hours a day or more at one point. I would have continued but my wife was getting more than a little jealous. I paid $25 like 9 or 10 months ago.
