A decent drive for a PS3?
Or should I wait for the Samsung 860 to go back to $199?

the SX6000 specs are below par. Mydigital SSD SBX's has much better specs for around the same price or cheaper when it was on sale last week. If you have a microcenter the Inland version is better and cheaper too.

Don't even bother with an SSD in a PS3. I tried it with almost no gain in speed. Looked into it and the PS3 can't even use the speed an SSD will provide

you have a misguided sense of "par" - since this price competitive with any SATA SSD and it easily outclasses those in throughput

But it's M.2 tho.... if I want a Sata i would get a sata for less...

don't get me wrong it' s an ok deal but it's hard to see this as a deal when a Mydigital SBX with much better performance for pretty much the same price.

It's actually a terrible game. I hate it personally. YMMV on like-ness.

Munchkin is a great brand and produces quality product. My very very first SSD was from this company and it's still working at 6 years old.

Neither can a PS4, the games just aren't set up to utilize it.
